No lugging around large, heavy books. All the books contained in one place. Remembers your spot. Each of the digital copies are only about $5. Just sayin'. 4. Radioactiveman271 • The night is dark, and full of terrors • 9 yr. ago.

The consensus that I think is the most likely outcome: Winds of Winter is released in the next few years. The last book is published posthumously after Martin passes away and another author uses his notes to try to finish the series. Timeline on that I would guess is 10-20 years.
As the title says I would like to know the complete order of every book associated with Game of Thrones. I have watched the show multiple times and I know a lot about the lore. For a long time, I have been trying to read the books, however, before I just throw myself out there I would like to know the chronological order in which to read them.
I read them once and have listened to the audiobooks like 4 times. Not to mention relistening to individual story lines and chapters. The order is A game of thrones, A clash of kings, A storm of swords, A feast for crows, A dance with dragons, The winds of winter (unreleased), A dream of spring (unreleased).
Share this on Reddit; George R.R. Martin says ASOIAF books won’t end exactly like Game of Thrones ; The best order to read the Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire books.
start with the first book (a game of thrones) and read the main series first. world of ice and fire and fire and blood are more like history books and can probably pretty uniteresting if you havent read the main series and arent invested in the world
ChronoMonkeyX Daenerys Targaryen • 6 mo. ago The book series is called A Song of Ice and Fire, and the first entry is A Game of Thrones, so start with that one. It is very well written and a pleasure to read, but there are only 5 books right now and the next is taking forever to come out.

Robin Miles reading Broken Earth is, obviously, amazing. To be fair, I had already eye read Game of Thrones a couple of times before I started reading audiobooks, but Roy Dotrice's narration was about the worst I've ever heard. I remember trying to persevere, but when I heard the 3rd or 4th different pronunciation of Bran within the first hour
the first option is that you read the main series than the expansion materials: (a) A Game of Thrones (b) A Clash of Kings (c) A Storm of Swords (d) A Feast for Crows (e) A Dance of Dragons. (f) A knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Fire and Blood, A Workd of Ice and Fire (d) and (e) were intended to be one book, but we split by POV and location.
